Evacuated glass tubes are the main component of the ETC system. They are made by assembling two concentric 3T borosilicate glass tubes. The outer surface of the inner tube is coated with Cu/SS-ALN by an innovative coating. A special selective glass coating absorbs maximum energy from the sun and losses minimum energy. Since the evacuated tubes are rounds, sun rays fall on them at an angle, and they are able to absorb solar radiation all day long.
The storage tank is designed using Non-Welding technology to prevent it from rust. It is made from special non-stick food grade surgical stainless steel. The tank is covered with high-density PUF insulation, which keeps the water hot overnight. This insulation is again laden with powder coated stainless steel outer tank.
A special quality assistant tank is designed to control mixing of hot and cold water. Assistant tank increases efficiency of system. Also there is no need of additional Air Vent, which reduces cost of plumbing.
The stand is made of stainless steel and power coated with folded angles of 27 degree. so as to support all components of the system. It is specially designed to take the load of the hot water storage tank (especially during storms).
There are various components like seals, grommets. Tube bottom support and other fasteners required, before the entire system can be assembled. Fasteners are made in pure stainless steel and all seals are silicon rings.
